The acid reflux and heart burn continued today. I emailed my ID doctor (Dr. Brust) today and asked him what to do. He told me to stop the Clindamyacin (antibiotics) today and take Prilosec. I see Dr. Marx in Miami tomorrow and see my ID doctor on Wednesday. Reflux is a side effect of Clindamycin. My stomach continues to burn despite the antacids. I stood up to eat dinner tonight and every bite caused a burning like I have never had before, in my stomach. Not sure what is going to happen. I need antibiotics for the infection, but it has killed my stomach. The swelling on the right side of my face has about doubled since not taking the antibiotics today. Dunno, will see what the doctor says tomorrow..
