A month later:

I went back to the oral surgeon about a month ago and had the last tooth on the top and bottom on the left extracted.  I was having pain in the lymph nodes in my left axilla, groin and behind my left knee.  This pain has mostly subsided since the extractions.  My energy is almost back to normal.  I'm still not quite myself, but the improvements have been dramatic since these extractions.

I have a very small spot on the right lower jaw where the bone is almost coming through the gums.  Last week I went to the biological dentist to see if he would smooth it out.  I think it is the key to getting the rest of my energy back, but all, Dr. Behm and all he did was argue with me.  He did say that he would do it after literally arguing with him for 3 hours. By then he was being so reckless and he couldn't seem to put his finger on the right spot and  I decided I didn't want him doing anything.  So I left. I have some regrets now about that decision.  I'm going to give it 2 months and see what happens.

The ironic part of all of this is how irritated doctors get when you self diagnosis and self treat, but they have left me no choice.  I have literally seen 80 different medical professionals and been misdiagnosed by 78 of them, in the last 2 years and here I sit treating myself with the ETPS machine, massaging my own jaw muscles, taking left over antibiotics when an abscess drains, taking liquid vitamin C, rinsing with iodine water (2 drops to 8 oz of water) etc, with literally no medical supervision other than my own at this point.  Yes, 80 medical professionals and I don't have a doctor at this point, not even a GP.

I have no doubt that I would have died a year ago, if I didn't have the medical knowledge that I have and the drive to press on, even when no one was listening to me.

  1. Danielle, I have had Osteomyelitis in my jaw since 2009. But I have done some research on
this awful disease.. I found a product that you
drink with water, called pHenomenal. The reason
you can't get better for long is because this
Bacteria produces large amounts of lactic acid,
and your T cells have a hard time fighting it off,
because of an enzyme called Catalase. It's kind
of hard to explain. That's why antibiotics don't
really work. The more acid or full of hydrogen
we are, the weaker our T cells become. You have
to flush that acid from your body,Phenomenal
flushes that acid out of your body. Anyways I
read your story & it sounded just like me. I also would get a burning sensation on my chin,
like a put a match to it. And I found out it was
like an acid burn. Here is the website, you can
    read about it there. pHenomenalwater.com
I feel so much better than all of the picc lines
pain meds, surgery. I'm 55 yrs. old, and at one
I thought I was going to die too. I hope you see
    this Becky

  2. It's me again, my face used to swell up on the
right side of face & it put pressure on the right
ear, horrible pain, and the burning sensation on
my chin. But I haven't seen any doctors since last
year, since I started drinking the water. The
antibiotics will not do anything for this condition, they might help for awhile, but it
comes right back. I seen a ENT last time I was
in the hospital, last yr. and he looked at me
for 5 min. and said, if you don't get to see a
Oral Surgeon ASAP, it will be to late..this was
Friday Nite about 8 pm. when they released me to
go home, I couldn't believe what he said to me..
it scared the blank out of me.. and I couldn't
find a Oral Surgeon that would look at me, I had
to drive to another city, where I had my first
surgery. He said he would not do another surgery
because it makes the jaw like swiss cheese, full
of holes. He suggested HBOT, but my insurance, didn't cover it. So that's some of the drama, I
know you have really been thru it.All those drs.
and none of them, could figure out what's really
going on. this bacteria's by product is so much
acid the body just can't fight it.In the state of Lactic Acidosis, your blood oxygen levels are low, no energy, your sore & you swell up.

  3. Danielle, when my problem started in June of 2009, I had some
dental work done, & everything seemed alright until Dec. 2009
that's when I realized something was wrong. I was always a
healthy person.I made a appt. with the dentist that did the
dental work & she did a 360 x-ray of my face, and I seen the
x-ray there was a completely solid white spot the size of a
dime, & I said what's that? well she blew it off, nothing to
worry about, go get the antibiotics filled take all of them &
you will feel better. So after the antibiotics was all taken, I
felt even worse, so I made a appt. with my dr. which I never
seen, because I was never sick, the day I went in there I was all
swelled up on my right side, & the pressure I felt in my right
ear was terrible pain, she looked at me & said, I think you have
the mumps. So she sent for some not complete blood work, so I
had to call them to find the results, she said you don't have
mumps, it just swollen glands. Then in Feb 2010, I really got
sick, was in bed for 5 days, missed work. Went to see the Dr.
sent home with more antibiotics, felt a little better, then worse
I don't really know how I made it, some days, go to work & go
home to bed.I realized then that I could no longer work. So I
called my sister, and asked her if she could go with me to put
my retirement papers in, which is about a hour away from where
I live, I was so weak I couldn't even drive. She had to drive me.
That was in May 2010, retired in June. Went to see my family in
July 2010, I was feeling weak, couldn't do anything, & my sister
looked at me, and said, you look funny, your face looks so pale
I'm taking you to the hospital, well I agreed to go. Now we are
talking small county hospital, said she knew the Dr. there, if
anybody could find what's was wrong he could, I was all swollen
on the right side of my face, he looked at my face, & I told him
about the dental work, the symptoms I was having. Had IV put in,
cat scan done, he came & told me that I had a very serious bone
infection, well I was so relieved that this monster inside me had
a name, that I wasn't crazy, he said he had a ambulance coming to
pick me up to take me to the next largest city that had a ID DR.
Stayed 7 days in hospital, had surgery, alot of x-rays, picc
line, rotating antibiotics, vanco, zosyn, rocephin, might of
been more, don't remember. Had a nurse come to the house for
7 wks. felt alot better. And then in Jan. 2011 same thing, again
went back to a different hosp. where I live, but this time, I
could tell what I had, same symptoms, swelling, pressure on ear
but the burning on the chin was new, like a had a very bad bad
sunburn, one of the Drs. asked about my chin, beat red, looked
bad, I live in a very cold climate, when I left the hosp. it
was during a very bad snow storm. Today I'm so much better, like
normal again, no antibiotics, no pain pills, thinking about
a part-time job, with Osteo, you have flair-ups, similiar to
Gout, high acid in the body. So what I had in Jan. was a flair
up.You can change the way eat, you could be a Vegan & still have
flair-ups with Osteo, until you can rid yourself of all the acid
that's the key, that's why antibiotics don't really do much good.
    Sorry about rambling on..

  4. S. aureus can cause a range of illnesses, from minor skin infections, such as pimples, impetigo, boils (furuncles), cellulitis folliculitis, carbuncles, scalded skin syndrome, and abscesses, to life-threatening diseases such as pneumonia, meningitis, osteomyelitis, endocarditis, toxic shock syndrome (TSS), bacteremia, and sepsis. Its incidence ranges from skin, soft tissue, respiratory, bone, joint, endovascular to wound infections. It is still one of the five most common causes of nosocomial infections and is often the cause of postsurgical wound infections. Each year, some 500,000 patients in American hospitals contract a staphylococcal infection.[4]

Methicillin-resistant S. aureus, abbreviated MRSA and often pronounced /ˈmɜrsə/ or /ɛm ɑː ɛs eɪ/, is one of a number of greatly-feared strains of S. aureus which have become resistant to most antibiotics.

  5. The human body uses Nitric Oxide to kill germs and bacteria.

Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) has a very special enzyme called Catalase and this is what Catalase does:

When Staphylococcus Aureus is attacked by Nitric Oxide, this enzyme Catalase, produces Lactic acid and effectively neutralizes Nitric Oxide rendering the bodies natural immune system useless against Staphylococcus Aureus.

In an attempt to help the body, man has invented a wide variety of antibiotics to help combat Staphylococcus Aureus, but the bacterium has the ability to mutate and survive these antibiotics.

Staphylococcus Aureus only has one food source and that is glucose or sugar. After consuming sugar it naturally reproduces itself and the by- products are Lactic and Uric acids.

It is a blood born Bacterium, so it consumes the sugar from the blood of its host (in this case that host is the human body) creating sugar cravings and eventually this leads to a state called Type A: Lactic Acidosis.

  6. Thank you for your information. I have considered products to reduce acid and have not tried them yet. I think I will now. The bacteria I had was mycoplasma. It is a strange bateria that doesn't have a cell wall and doesn't respond to antibiotics. A holistic doctor figured that out, but realistically nothing is going to help if you have multiple large abscesses, until the abscesses drain. The electrical stimulation has made the abscesses drain and the large lump of abnormal bone in my right maxilla shrink. Just this week 5 different areas opened up and drained, leaving sores behind where they drained. I was so nauseous and ready to cut my head off, but now that the crap has drained out the lump is so much smaller. It's down to about the last 10%. I feel that it is the core of the problem and most toxic area. A few more weeks and I think that I will have it beat. I just need to find a doctor to remove the bone sticking through my gums.

Being a physical therapist, I know about the conditions in which you speak. I will look into getting the pHenomenal water. I have been drinking lemon juice and water every morning, that also is supposed to reduce your pH.

    Thanks again for the info.

  7. Danielle, that Mycoplasma sounds evil. When you first noticed that something was wrong, and you went to the Dr. or dentist, was that the only strain of bacteria or were their several.

  8. Danielle, When you went to the Holistic Dr. did he mention Oxygen Therapy. Two good books on the subject: Flood Your Body with Oxygen and also Oxygen Therapies, both written by: Ed McCabe. Here is a website that has Oxygen products. Their website is: rebekahspureliving.com Phone:1-810-660-8585. I have read goods things about 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide, kills bad bacteria & feeds the good, also anti-fungal/anti-bacteria. Two products, Oxy-Gel & Oxy-Bath.
Also Allimax & Allimed, allicin -compound obtained from Garlic. I'm sure their are plenty Health stores in Florida, But I thought I would send the website. Take Care,
and keep me up on your progress.

  9. Sorry for your troubles. Your story sounds just like what I am going through. I feel this has been a long journey and at this point will never end. I have 4 children to support and I truly worry because of all the fatigue and sickness all the time. The last 4 years have been rough. Self diagnosing and treatment seem to be the only options along with blogs like yours. Thanks for sharing your story.

  10. Becky,

Thank you for the information. I will go to those sites and check them out.

At the end of last year, I tried several holistic treatments including IV vitamin infusions, peroxide infusions and I have had 2 ozone injections into my jaw. They all seemed to help, but I can't afford it now. I took a break from the the liquid Vitamin C, but have inconsistently started taking it again. I use my ETPS machine regularly. I know it is helping because the lump in my mouth is shrinking. Unfortunately, it drains and then shrinks. So right now I have 4 abscesses draining. I know in a few days they will close, but I'm so nauseous from the taste.

I will check out your info.

    Thank you,
    Danielle

  11. Alyssa,

I am so sorry that you suffer too. It is horrible and only others with it understand. I'm glad that my blog helped.

Best wishes for a solution and return to good health!
